Today I can no longer remember the events leading up to the moment where I felt the need to take photos, cut them into pieces and rearrange them to create new images. My move towards collage and photomontage always seemed perfectly natural, and it’s a method I’ve used in my work in the press, in publishing and in communication.”

Born in Dakar, Laudator studied photography at the École Louis Lumière and the CE3P in Paris, where he still lives and runs his own portrait studio.
